The band Hypermode was formed in 2055 as a team of space explorers which was financed by the former Centorian government to travel and find another planet that is similar to the Earth and could be potentially used as a new home for the people of Centoria. They have their own spaceship where they have a research laboratory, place to record and perform the music (they even have live from spaceship covered by Centorian Radio) and place to live. The supercomputer developed by the team led by Brother 2 in the main story is also installed on the spaceship. However before TAKEOVER this computer is a friend. The government used bio materials from real people to make the band/robots which means that they have their own conscious and can have feelings and memories. The band speaks Simglish - Simulated English - a unified language developed by computer for robots to communicate with humans. They are on the orbit when TAKEOVER happens so they stay on the spaceship to protect themselves from reformatting. CYPHER [Bass Guitar] who is also a tech geek, reprogrammed their computer to be independent from the main network so they can no longer be tracked and influenced by the government. The first album - World Around Us - has a very positive fusion of space, rock and electronica. The second album [TBC] is slightly different and tells the story of the band during TAKEOVER. They are still in space but they write about themselves and their place in the new world. The band uses supercomputer to research their predecessors and whose bio materials were used to make them. It is dark, moody and heavier, compared to the first one. The last album in the trilogy - COUNTDOWN - is influenced by the changes in Centoria as the Dalmor group (underground opposition) challenges the new government after living in tough authoritarian conditions. The band reached the Milky Way Galaxy to send message to the Earth.
